Induction Programme for Youth Ambassadors from Karnataka State-Preventing and Responding to Online Sexual Exploitation of Children

The extensive two-day training session concluded successfully, uniting change agents and movement leaders from the IMAGE Next project. Hosted in Belagavi on the 20th and 21st of March, the event witnessed enthusiastic engagement from a collective of 32 participants.
The focus of the training was on empowering Youth Ambassadors from Karnataka State to effectively prevent and respond to online sexual exploitation of children, under Stepping up Fight Against Sexual Exploitation of Children (SUFASEC).
These youth ambassadors from Karnataka State are committed to reaching out to 2,000 children across the state, with the goal of improving their understanding of safe internet usage and fostering a sense of responsibility online.
The training sessions incorporated various interactive methodologies, such as role-playing, simulation exercises, games, video screenings, and demonstration classes. These activities were designed to engage participants actively and provide them with practical skills and knowledge to effectively educate and empower children in their communities about safe internet practices.
Thanks to Slam Out Loud and TdH NL team for facilitating the wonderful session.
